01Who this covers

This policy explains how Ideal Insulation Enterprises Inc. ("Ideal Insulation", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit idealinsulationinc.com, request an estimate, call or text us, use our online forms or chat, or become a customer. It applies to homeowners, builders, property managers and anyone else who contacts us.

We are a Florida insulation contractor (Florida license #RC29027736) located at 4950 Golden Gate Pkwy, Naples, FL 34116. We are the "controller" of the information described here.

02What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, company, phone number, email address, mailing and job-site address.
• Project details: the type of building, its condition, square footage, plans, drawings, photos, deadlines, budget and anything else you tell us so we can scope and price the work.
• Scheduling and access information, such as when someone will be on site.
• Billing information needed to invoice you. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our website.
• Messages you send us by form, email, chat, phone or text, and reviews or feedback you choose to leave.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data when you visit the site: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location and the date and time of your visit.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
• Call and text metadata such as the number you called from, the time, and the duration. Calls may be recorded for quality and training where the law allows, and you will be told when that is the case.

Information from other sources

• Public records, such as county property and permit records, which we may use to confirm a property's size and layout before an estimate.
• Referrals from builders, general contractors, property managers or other customers who ask us to contact you.
• Advertising and analytics partners (Google, HubSpot) that tell us how you found us.

03How we use it

• To prepare estimates and written scopes, schedule and perform the work, and follow up after a job.
• To communicate with you about your project by phone, email, text message and chat.
• To invoice, collect payment, keep accounting records and meet tax obligations.
• To send marketing about our services, where you have agreed to receive it or where the law otherwise allows. You can opt out at any time (section 10).
• To measure and improve our website and advertising, including understanding which pages and campaigns lead to estimate requests.
• To comply with the law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect our rights, our customers and our crews.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from us and from these providers:

• HubSpot hosts the site, its forms and the chat widget, and records page views and form submissions so we can follow up on your request.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads measure traffic and advertising results, including call and form conversions from our ads, and may show you our ads on other sites (remarketing).
• Jobber provides the online estimate-request form and scheduling links you may be sent to.

You can manage cookies through the consent banner on the site and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site, such as chat or forms, from working. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them.

06Who we share it with

• Service providers that work on our behalf and may only use your information to provide their service to us: HubSpot (website, forms, chat, customer records), Google (analytics, advertising, call tracking, maps and reviews), Jobber (estimates, scheduling, invoicing), Intuit QuickBooks (accounting and invoicing), our business phone and texting provider, Zapier (moving records between the systems above), and payment processors.
• Builders, general contractors and property managers when they engaged us for a job at a property you own or occupy, limited to what the job requires.
• Professional advisors such as accountants, insurers and attorneys, under confidentiality.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety or rights of any person.
• Business transfers: if the company or substantially all of its assets are sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

07QuickBooks and our internal software

We keep our books in Intuit QuickBooks Online. Customer names, job addresses, invoices and payment status are stored there as part of our accounting records. We also use internal software tools, including AI-assisted tools, that connect to our own QuickBooks company file and our other business systems to draft documents, summarize records and answer questions for our staff. These tools act on our behalf, are limited to our own business data, and are subject to the same confidentiality obligations as our employees. We never access a customer's own QuickBooks account. 08How long we keep it

We keep estimate and job records for as long as needed to perform and support the work, meet warranty and accounting obligations, and comply with Florida and federal record-keeping requirements, generally seven years after the last transaction. Website analytics and advertising data are kept according to the provider's retention settings. You may ask us to delete information sooner (section 10) and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

09Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, access controls and staff confidentiality obligations to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by Florida law.

10Your choices

• Marketing. Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and of marketing texts by replying STOP. We will still send messages needed to carry out your job.
• Access, correction and deletion. Email estimates@idealinsulationinc.com or call (239) 455-2002 to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will verify your identity first and respond within 45 days.
• Cookies. Use the consent banner or your browser settings.
• State privacy rights. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a decision. Contact us using the details below and tell us which state you live in.

11Children

Our services and website are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Other websites

Our site links to third-party sites such as Google Maps, Jobber and social media. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.

13Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced on the site or sent to you directly where appropriate.
